We just bought and installed this seat, and used it immediately. The seat comes almost completely assembled with the exception of the head-rest. I followed the directions slowly and picture by picture and I didn't have to redo any steps, like I usually do. Installation was easy and clear in the front facing position, 5 point harness for a toddler. For a compact car it may be a tight fit in the rear facing position and/or reclining.
PROS:
Nice amount of padding overall
Nice neutral color
Feels sturdy and solid
Cup holder and snack/toy compartment under the arm rest(opening on inside)! My son loves them both of course.
Low profile, I have great visibility over the head-support in the lowest setting. And my son is able to climb in my himself because the seat itself is closer to the floor and the seat is flat, (unlike a convertible seat with a more structured form, and the front edge is higher off the car's seat).
The transitions to belt use and booster seem simple but I have not used them yet.
CONS:
Harness is a feed type, painful if you have to change sizes often. You have to feed through the front two layers and then over a roller in the back. It is easier after the first time.
Crotch buckle/strap is fairly short, it will be tight as any child grows larger. If you have a bigger toddler, it may be very uncomfortable much sooner and then you would have to upgrade again.
Overall I have found the seat very convenient and easy to use. My son really seems to enjoy the "new seat" and its compartments. It appears to be comfortable for him!
I would recommend this to anyone with an average size toddler in mind.
Hopefully Graco will make a buckle attachment that lengthens it!!!

I bought this for my son when he was 2. I LOVE this seat! Its sturdy, its affordable and its easy to install. The one downside this seat was the hard unmovable armrests. This made it difficult to lift my taller than most son into the seat without him hitting his head on the frame of the car.

My 2 year old is unable to sleep in this seat due to the upright position it stays in even when 'reclined'. We just took a 10 hour trip and every time he tried to fall asleep, his head would fall forward. It looked like some trying to sleep in an airplane seat - which is about how much it reclines. Also the head rest causes his head to lean forward even more and poorly affects his posture.
We have a Britax also and it works much better in every aspect. The clasps on this seat are all poorly designed and much more difficult to operate. I don't understand why this unit gets so many good reviews.
